I just have to write this praise song for Barbara Calvano and her extraordinary workshop that I attended on the archangels last month. I had been going through an incredibly stressful period of tumult with my business, and my mother, who loves Barbara’s radio show, excitedly told me about the workshop and insisted we attend. Upon arrival, we were invited into a bright, spacious room and seated around a gorgeous centerpiece on the floor strewn with lush rose petals and vibrant healing crystals that filled me with a delightful peace. We were instructed that we could leave any stress and fears in that room and as we cut cords, vacuumed lower energies and chanted ourselves back into harmony, I could feel the weight, and stress leaving me as if by evaporation, and some of it DID leave through tears. We learned about the major archangels, the crystals able to help access their vibration, and how to be on the lookout for guidance from our celestial task force. One serendipitous moment happened just after Barbara told us that clairaudience/hearing words repeated was another way angels communicated with us, and as we introduced ourselves two of the women had the same name! We had a very informative handout, yet I found myself taking further notes because Barbara was so detailed in her discussion and specific ways each of the angels could help us. I remember thinking to myself that I would have to call on Uriel a lot to help me with my business so I could have some peace of mind.

At the end of the workshop, we were given a mini reading and I selected a card. It was Archangel Uriel! The card was Brilliant Idea! The illustration was of Uriel on a unicorn, holding a lightning bolt, and I understood immediately that I was not to worry, that I was protected. That card sits at my workstation and whenever I look at it, I just shake my head and smile. We were also invited to take some of the rose petals HOME, and since it was a full moon the following night, I decided it would be nice to treat myself to a cleansing bath to further the sense of release and relief I felt. I used the rose petals in my bath and that night I had a dream that I was in a river with the Goddess Isis. She dunked me under the water, and I began to sink down, down, down, but the strangest thing about it was that I didn’t panic and I could also BREATHE the entire time. When I woke up, I realized that I had received another blessing and instruction just from using those super-charged petals! We might have moments we do feel like we are drowning, but we are always under divine protection. All we can do is breathe and trust. I left my worries in that room but came away with so, so much more and I cannot wait until the next; this time I will be arriving filled with JOY. Thank you, Barbara!!!!
